Room Hire 

We have a number of rooms available for hire at the church to suit many different types of event whether it be a business meeting, children's party, dance group, fitness class, or activity that requires the use of a sports hall.

Currently there are a number of external hirers that use our premises during the week so it is best to call our Church Office for availability on 01622 686013 or email office@maidstonebaptist.net

Please find below details of our available rooms and current hire charges:

Main Hall £22.50 per hour

17x12m approximately, laid out as a badminton court. The hall has a wooden floor suitable for games, line dancing etc. Chairs and tables are available and the hall will seat approximately 150 in various layouts. There is a serving hatch to a small kitchen.

Small Hall £16.00 per hour

7.5x5.5m approximately, carpeted, suitable for meetings. Seats 40 in rows 20 in a circle. There is a serving hatch to the main kitchen.

Room 1 (Lounge) £12.50 per hour

8x4.4m approximately, carpeted, suitable for meetings. Seats 30 in rows 20 in a circle. There is a serving hatch to a small kitchen.

Chapel

The Chapel is available to hire and applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis with rates agreed according to the booking requirements. During the winter months there will be an additional charge to cover the heating costs.

Kitchens

The Church has two kitchens.

Small kitchen

Suitable for making hot drinks and refreshments. Use of the kitchen is included in the rate of hire for the main hall & Room 1.

Main Kitchen

Suitable for catering events and has a mains gas cooker and microwave. Use of this kitchen will incur an additional charge *.  Please enquire at the time of booking.

* the Main Kitchen can be used for making drinks when hiring the Small Hall without extra charge.
 

Toilet Facilities

The church has toilet facilities on the ground floor including an accessible toilet suitable for wheelchair users or those with restricted mobility.

Car Parking

The church has a small private car park and two spaces will be allocated per booking (subject to availability). There are 2 disabled bays for blue badge holders. Participants must be directed to the council car parks which are in close proximity of the building.
